Default ATF Clandestine Effort Results in Death of Border Patrol Agent

I heard on Gun Talk Radio (Tom Gresham made the statement) that the ATF was smuggling guns into Mexico to trace them back into the U.S. then claim that there is a problem with guns being smuggled into Mexico by drug runners. The problem is that one of these guns was used to kill a US Border Patrol agent. Some US Senators are aware of this issue and it could be a very explosive political situation.

Is there a government agency more questionable than the ATF?

Default ICE agents were UNARMED when gunned down

I was just watching Fox mid-day with Megan Kelly a few minites ago. Now coming out that the Ice agents shot in Mexico a couple of days ago were unarmed - completely! It seems that the Mexicans have had a policy since about 1990 that all US LEO/Feds/etc in Mexico must be unarmed.

I'm stunned. How could our government agree to put our own people totally in harms way? It seems to be the US government is AT LEAST partially complicit in the one agent's death and the other agent's severe wounding.

AT A MINIMUM, the US government should immediately pull all US agents, etc out of Mexico immediately, and never agree to send them back until the Mexican gov unilaterally agrees to allow the agents armed however they choose to be armed all the time.

If I was a family member of the slain US agent, I would be talking to the best lawyer I could find about a criminal and civil suit vs the US government for criminal negligence, etc.

More and more clear the Feds truly do not care about their citizens - even those acting in an official capacity on their behalf. Hard to understand where total incompetence ends and just plain evil begins with them. Be vigilant people.
