    Default Hunting with AR15?

Is it legal to hunt with a M4 AR15? Using a 5 round magazine? I didn't know if the Flash Supp. makes it illegal or not?

depends what you hunt, doesn't meet caliber retrictions for big game if it is 223/5.56

Coyotes only! I didn't know if it had to be similar to a Varmint rifle or could just use a standard M4 with suppressor and 5 rnd mag?

Yes, that would be legal for coyotes.

I am not so sure on coyotes that you would have to use a 5rd mag, but I could be wrong

The only restriction is when hunting big game, you can have a 100 round beta mag for varmint hunting if you want.

Thanks for the info guys. I actually stopped by the DOW in Montrose and they said it didn't matter what mag cap. for small game with the AR. It only matters when you get into big game hunting.
