Probably more to the story, but not necessarily. There must have been....five? separate incidences last year where drug cartels shot up a bunch of teenagers at quinceaneras. I think the media reported that the cartels mistook the parties as their rivals celebrating or something.

That's the real key point for me on this story. There are plenty of safe areas in Mexico. The murder capitol of Juarez is not one. Just like any country or place you go though. There are just some places you don't go

problem is that this will be spun into some sort of reason to impose on the constitutional rights of American citizens because of the actions of someone in another country.
