Gun shops in Salida

I just got back from a trip to Colorado. Hit several shops all over Colo. and Utah. But two of the nicest shops I found were in Salida. One isn't really a gun shop but they make brass. I visited Top Brass and got some good deals and even a tour of the facilities. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The other place I visited was American hunting and fishing supply. Gwen was knowledgeable and the shop very well stocked. I found a bunch of 6.5x55 brass that even Cabelas didn't have.
If anyone is passing through Salida I highly recommend that you stop by Top Brass and American.

I was able to tour Top Brass right after I moved here several years ago, too. Quite an operation.

Gwen at AHFS has worked hard to get up to speed on as many aspects of shooting and firearms as time allows. She carries a nice selection, has better prices than many items at Spec. Sports and will order anything you need that she doesn't carry in stock.

I bought my Kimber Classic Gold Match there, a couple years ago. Paid a bit of a premium on it but I didn't have to travel to get it and the consignor wouldn't budge on the price...not Gwen's fault.
