Default Q: Why does the Egypt problem stump the US government?

A: A quote from Director of National Intelligence (DNI), James Clapper:

"The term Muslim Brotherhood is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam" (emphasis mine)
    Any further questions?

This is the same man who has been described by the Obama administration as the "consummate DNI".

There is a great article by the WSJ HERE that details the failures of our utterly inept president and his administration.

This administration is in way over it's head, as usual. This is what you get when you elect "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy" but has no real experience or the balls to make a decision.

I am sure most any foreign administration listens to Obama. Afterall he has so much experience in foreign policy and relations. I would not be the least surprised if a leader of a foreign nation wold tell him to "mind your own business rookie". Mubarak has been in power for close to 30 years-think he is going to take anything Oblunder says seriously?

I actually think most foreign leaders are saying it more like " Go F@&* yourself. You cant run your own country dont tell me how to run mine" and Im sure there is a middle finger in there somewhere too. I like the line in the interview before the superbowl "what I want is a representitive government..." uh excuse me dumbass what makes you think THEY want that.

I think Obama is liked but not respected at all. He can can say things but won't follow through. Other leaders know we're overextended and can't afford our current wars and our economy isn't helping.

OTOH, I'm not too sure what anybody can do. Mubarak may be a scumbag but he's our scumbag and seen as such. Maybe those mythical moderate Moslems will take over. They'll come riding in on their unicorns.

The entire reason Obummer is well like abroad is that he Kow-tows to other leaders and does NOT pose any threat.
They know he is a popularity president and has no real foreign policies beyond "Don't make Waves."

He is weak and they know it.

I can see it now. Big meeting of world leaders. They all walk in. Close the door. Walk over to Obama, pat him on the head and say "you can sit over in the corner and watch the big boys. But only if you are quiet and dont interupt us"
