Post Parts, Accessories Gear for BENELLI M4 - Put in your Feedback and Opinions

So I just picked up a new Benelli M4 with the adjustable stock. I have not started into 3-Gun, but plan to. I also plan to have this setup for HD/SHTF (Sh*t Hit the Fan). I also just had to have this!

I have been looking all over for various parts and trying to determine which manufacturer makes the best. Here is what I am thinking thus far and I would love feedback from anybody that has used this stuff or used something else. Feel free to chime in regarding other useful M4 stuff too. Thanks.

    Rails, etc
    Sidearmor MOD II
    http://www.sidearmor.com/index.php?m...products_id=70
    • Expensive, but seems to be the most comprehensive and heavy duty solution for the M4. Gets GREAT reviews from what I have seen. What Sidearmor accessories would you guys suggest to go on this?
    Full Length Mag Tube
CarrierComp Titanium Full Length Mag Tube
    http://shop.carriercomp.com/product....3&categoryId=4
    • Roughly same cost as most other mag tubes for the M4. Made of Titanium. Color Matched to M4 finish. Reviews appear to say this is the best one.
    Bolt Handle
    1/2" - http://freedomfightertactical.com/pr...li-m4-shotgun/
    3/4" - http://freedomfightertactical.com/pr...li-m4-shotgun/
    • I've looked around a bunch but I don't know which is the best. I seems the steel is not the way to go as it would be heavier than the factory handle, messing with cycling. The titanium seems like it would work better. But I'm not sure which is the best. I've heard CarrierComp is planning to make one, but see nothing as to when. The links above are to the Freedom Fighter Tactical Handles which seems to get the best reviews. If I go with this one, I don't know if I should go with the 1/2" or 3/4".
    Muzzle Brakes

    • Unnecessary? What is your opinion? Are these really more just tacticool? If so, I don't think I want it.

    Brake:

The only brake you'd ever need on a shooting is for breeching, and even that can be done without one.... However, if you get a breeching brake, I'd call you a tool if you never used it, HA. But I'm just like that. The few guns that I do have, all serve a purpose. There isn't anything "uneeded" hanging off them IMO.

    Bolt Handle:

Bigger = Better in my view if you primarily use gloves. However, make sure it doesn't snag on vests or anything you may be wearing.

    Full length mag tube:
    Yes. More ammo, less reloading.

    Rails:

... is it really needed? Just throw on a surefire fore-end for a flashlight and call it done.

    Other:

I'd personally throw on some tritium ghost ring sights with a fiber front blade... but that's just my opinion. YMMV.

How is the stock on that thing? I would think on a shotty I'd want a fixed stock.. Never handled a M4.

That is what I figured on the brake. I think I will be leaving it stock in that department.

I would be adding rails for several reasons. The first is for a flashlight. The second is for an additional shell carrier. And third is for a HWS. The advantage I see to the SideArmor rail system is that it allows shell carriers to be added to multiple locations, unlike the Mesa Tactical side saddle, and the top rail extends beyond the factory rail, allowing for more forward placement of the HWS.

Suggestions on Tritium/fiber optic Ghost rings you would recommend?

The stock is not a twinky adjustable stock. It is the same stock on the Marine Corp M1014. Here is a pic.

Nordic Components makes some nice stuff for your Benelli. So does Mesa Tactical.

Unfortunately Surefire doesnt make a front end for these, I would have one already.

For the OP, I went with some Daves Metal Works goodies, I like them so far and easy to intall.

I did the oversized knob, extension tube and speed bar (overlaps the button and makes charging simple) Prices were good too. I didnt want to spend $200 for an additional 2/3 rounds.

I want to throw on an Aimpoint H-1/T-1, or micro dot trijicon, doctors, etc.

and a side saddle, thinking velcro set up, different load-outs are easy.
