I hear what you're saying. Then again, it does tend to keep alive the memories of what awful things the Nazis did. Like others have said, some people forget over time. Personally, I think it's important we don't, however unpleasant that may be.
    21 years ,right on congratulation!!!!

yes it is always a good thing to remember , but not a good thing to relive

The folks who are serious about white supremacy make me wonder.
I think the problems (financial crisis, offshoring jobs etc) we face are big and complicated.
Trying to come up with a simplistic solution (it's the mud races fault) is really missing major parts of the big picture.

Not to mention building your life/relationships around hating a group. What an emotional drag that has got to be.

I say make friends, deal fairly, keep your word (trust but verify) yadda yadda. Society is built on figuring out how to exchange what I make for what you make and we all profit.

Don't read this the wrong way, buy frankly, of the time period, the Germans/nazi's had the best looking class A type uniforms. The only one, imo, on the allied side that came close was the U.S.Naval officers class A.

If WWII had boiled down to a fashion show, The Germans would have won hands down.

That's because it was a fashion show for them. The men's fashion giant Hugo Boss was a big manufacture of their uniforms...

i couldn't really care one way or another. people can dress how they want. personally, I am more annoyed with the way kids dress than some nazi wannabe.

Liberals probably think half the stickers on my truck should be illegal and make me look like a anti-liberal gun toting right wing terrorist, but then again, that makes me happy that they think that of me. Their obama and coexist stickers make me think they are unintelligent shit eating cock suckers that fuck up the country, but then again that is just my opinion---which I am lucky I am in a country where I am entitled to it.

A lot of people are fascinated with the Nazi symbolism, even though they don't understand it nor would they truly agree with it. Others like the uniform, the weapons etc.

I mean out of all the WWII weapons, I think my K98 Mauser is my favorite. and not because I am a Nazi sympathiser, or because I am a jew hater or because i wish nazi thinking would grow in the US. It is simply because it is such an amazing weapon, ahead of its time, great engineering, and it ended up being the foundation of a lot of the great rifles we enjoy today.
If someone saw all the waffens with the swastikas on the K98 maybe they would think different.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

I hate it when people beat around the bush and don't make their thoughts on a subject clear.

While I agree that most Americans these days are disconnected from war, don't forget we too have the blood of many of our relatives on this soil, where we live, and I shutter to think that people forget that.

Sure, our civilians have largely been spared and most losses have been suffered by our service members overseas. But one of the great things about our country is our services members fight over there so our civilians don't have to here.

The "Coexist" bumper sticker goes back a bit longer than obama. He may get credit for a lot of BS, That's just not one.
