Same story…different year…I could fund my own defense, basic & necessary services, infrastructure and social program budgets for less…including and after any post deduction relief. ß Rhetorical ‘posturing’ to emphasize that I continue to be disgusted and flat-out fucking sick of my tax burden and responsibility simply for being part of the productive class in this country.
As we often hear from many of the good folks, I, too, do NOT mind submitting my equitable share, a debatable topic in and of itself, to fund the success of this country, I really don’t, hell, I WANT to pay for our greatness to an extent but…but… 1) We’re far from great and deteriorating more every year as quality and value across-the-board decreases for the productive citizens, 2) I do not accept how the monies are allocated to a great extent by a shit-bag political class (Fed, State and Local) that I have no respect for and 3) No way in hell anyone will convince me otherwise with counter-discourse on fiscal & tax policy, economics, etc. Bottom-line to those who try to rationalize that; “we do have a fair burden at the individual level," that "in comparison to other nations we are better off," and the best line, "I don’t mind paying more in taxes," etc. I’ll re-state for the record that you people are fucking naive idiots. I won’t rant about the ludicrous corporate and business tax shit-hole we contend with and will save that topic for another day but…
If I could only “opt out” of this national cluster-fuck and go it alone, I would [ß worthless folly but it makes me feel good to say it on tax prep day every year].
In closing, I’m one of those that actually enjoys doing my taxes, I do, great opportunity for me to “get a bit deeper” and reflect even more on my personal financial management plan, etc., but damn…makes me fucking angry to see my bottom-line burden while watching what is happening to this once great country.
