    Default Nice day to shoot!



    Went to the grasslands today to waste some ammo. Nice and warm had a little wind but not to bad. I only took the Glock 22 and was on and off all day. Shooting the 6" plate I got from hbar I would go 10 for 10, then 8 for 10 etc I just couldnt get in a rythym today. I have 6 steel 8" plates and I was good on them just slow. But paper out to 25yds showed a lot of low hits (3-5") and a couple fliers. But it was still fun to go put a few hundred down range. I have been reloading lighter loads for the 40 for competition this summer but I cant get the timing right, may have to go back to a G17 shooting factory ammo.

    I'm thinking of going tomorrow ... I need to get some sort of targets tho ... I really wanna get a couple or so of tannerite.

    I'm all out of Tannerite and with cut backs at work and taxes, I won't be shooting again till summer... maybe longer, so sad....

    Thats why I reload, when moneys good I stock up so when moneys bad I still have ammo. I have collected a few steel targets (want more) but mostly I use PVC stands and card board cut to the NRA tombstone shape. I dont pay for targets.

    Damn Taxes!!!!!!

    I still have a couple hundred of 5.56 and .45acp left over from last summer... and I really wanna shoot the mossberg I just got and luckily shot shells are fairly cheap.

    Hey BigBear I have'nt forgot about ya!! I know I have that guys card somewhere!!!! The Tanner is this weekend I'll talk to a couple of buddys and see if they have his card! Or I will find his card its somewhere in my truck. I know it!

    I went out plinkin today also! Man it was nice here, I think it was 58 outside when I was out there.

    Kade,

    HBAR has some targets that I have yet had a chance to pick up from him (stupid work).. go snag them and shoot them, then bring them to me!

    I don't think anything you're gonna throw at them will hurt If you can even manage to hit them!
