    Default CZ82 question

I bought a new ( surplus) CZ82 recently thinking that I could use my C&R for the purchase. However my local gun dealer told me that the CZ82 is on and off the C&R list. As a C&R holder I could easily pass the bg check, but I still see many more CZ82 listed on larger websites, and gunbroker as C&R guns. Is this just a dealer you doesn't like C&R, or is it really in limbo as far as the ATF is considered? Thanks for your help.

CZ 82 has been on the C&R list since spring of 2007, I have bought 4 of them. First one from AIM the other three from J&G. Use your C&R to buy on line, still some good deals out there.

    Default c&r

i have noticed when i buy alot of c&r firearms from out of state , and have them shipped in with a c&r, a local gun store may or may not like them coming in and having to deal with them.i do not know if store owners just do not have the patience , or just do not like it when someone is buying alot of firearms....and not theirs...strange someone would tell you they cannot order them.

Most Gun Store "dealers" Will Not Accept The C & R License, I Have Bought About 6 Or 8 Of Them From "gb" Without A Problem

the cz82 is a compact semi auto made for the Czechoslovakian military with the designation "Vz. 82", "Vz" is an abbreviation for "vzor", which translates to "model." A civilian export version is called the CZ 83.
The vz. 82 was added to the US government's "Curio and Relic" list with the (BATFE) in February 2007, after an individual wrote a letter to the ATF attaching a letter from a federal museum curator who stated that the vz. 82 had "museum interest" as a curio and relic.
