Default Stag left hand AR15 build it yourself?

I am one of the 10% of us who happen to be left handed. I normally just settle for Right hand guns, but being that an AR is nothing if not customizable. I know that Stag makes a left handed AR15, is there any way to build one myself? Would I just need a lefty upper? Or would I have to change the lower as well? Anyone have a Stag Lefty Rifle? Whats different other than the ejection side?
    Thanks

I have a Stag lefty build and I love it. I got the 2HTL upper and built the rest myself. I've since put a longer handguard and a different gas block on it. I think they mostly come in 1:9 twist so make sure that's what you want before you get a complete upper.

As for the lower, there's nothing special you have to do. There are a number of ambi selector switches on the market and I have a Nordic ambi magazine release that's a little pricey but worth it if you're really going to run it. You can always get one down the line as that's one of the easier parts to change out.

Have fun with it. I'm always interested in knowing how other lefty builds turn out.

My first AR was a Stag 2TL. The main difference is the upper and BCG. I built my 2nd Stag as a Varmint and again the only difference was the upper. You can save on the build by putting together your own lower. The sky is the limit on what you want to build. Basically a build is not that hard but buy from quality makers and you'll be fine. Good Luck

Does only Stag make the lefty uppers? I am sitting on a stag lower, and a bush master lower parts kit, and a mako butt stock. I just need an upper. I'm not really experienced enough yet to put together the upper, maybe after a few AR builds. Thanks

As far as I know Stag is the only one that makes left handed uppers. I also bought a complete upper for my Varmint build.

They make both right and left handed uppers. Check out http://www.stagarms.com/index.php?cPath=14 to see the complete upper part of their web catalogue. They have a lefty section and you can work out what you'd like from there.

I fully agree that if you don't have access to the proper tools and experience to buy a complete upper. The lower is a little harder to screw up.
