well I know for sure that atlanta, GA is near the dead bottom of that list.

15mph over is the expected average.

I was once going 20mph over the limit in the left lane. (limit is 55mph). I was doing 75. running late to work and trying to make a little time.

next thing I know I see a cop right on my ass damn near riding my bumper...I get over to the middle lane expecting him to follow and he just floors it past me...apparently I wasn't going fast enough and was in his way.

I think they have a lot more crap to worry about like drugs and murder and real cop work than pulling people over for speeding. I know I was happy about it

Things I Wish they pursued as hard as speeders:

• Cell-phone drivers, Get a god-damned hands free.
• People that stop and look at traffic when they have a dedicated turn lane.
• People that do not accelerate to highway speeds before merging onto the highway. 30mph is not highway speeds.
• People doing 55mph in a 65 zone in the left lane for no other reason than it makes them feel important.
• If it looks like your Honda civic is a friggin freight train when you accelerate, you need a ticket.
• If you make a right hand turn from the center lane in front of me, dont flip me off when I hit the horn. You need a ticket.
• Ticket ANY activity not associated with driving. This includes Makeup, Shaving, Reading the newspaper/Magazine, Painting your nails, holding/Playing with a pet, watching Television, playing video Games, Giving or receiving sexual favors. (Go park somewhere)
• We have a law here in Colorado called "Keep RIGHT except to pass" I give a shit if I am speeding and you are doing 1mph under the speed limit in the left lane. Unless you are passing someone, we are both wrong and I Might have a legitimate emergency.

Come to Longmont if you want to see money making at it's best.

Try waiting beside a Stop sign at 2230 to get people! Ok they're not stopping so fine them. However the issue is after school finishes and kids are crossing the street not at 2230.

Try having a cop car outside your house for a couple of weeks late at night with the lights flashing!

Lost all respect for them when they let the giggly girl off with the illegal left turn that resulted in my car being trashed.
