There are huge import car theft rings in CoS and Thornton. We were at Cave of the Winds on Saturday.

    Heh, weird.

There is an Accord in my parking lot with the driver rear wheel missing and on a jack stand. I was thinking it was you, until I saw your location.

At least you guys got a jack stand and a cinder block. The jerks dumped my Mom's car on the ground when the stole her wheel. And took all the lug nuts.

I hate thieves. I had a liberal a**hole tell me that thieves "earn" what they steal because of the risks they take when they steal something.

Sorry to hear that. What a PIA that is going to be. Thieves are getting bolder and there's almost nothing you can do about it. I guess it used to be legal to shoot horse thieves. The good old days.

Sounds like a metal theft - was the wheel aluminum or steel? radiator is worth a few bucks for metal in it most likely.

Hopefully the car isn't on the street? City will stop and give you an inop ticket most likely if its parked on the curb. Can't win.

I imagine it is a neighbor. Someone who knows your schedule or watched you leave or has been watching the vehicle sit for a while

Might want to crawl under the car and see if the cat is still there ... lot of expensive metals in a catalytic converter.

Also what part of town you live in?

Good luck with CSPD ... they're pretty much worthless (lets hope they don't accuse you of making the whole thing up).
