Default Next door neighbor's house burns...

Luckily, everyone got our safely... went up in about 20 minutes.....

Kind of touch and go for a while, their house is only about 20-30 feet from ours...
Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...

I was never in any actual danger, but we did get the Bug Out stuff ready to go, in case they told us to get out....

    Thanks for the concern!

Definitely will do. What freaked me out was just how fast it went from a small fire to fully involved. What's seriously jacked up is that when I was talking to the guy from the Red Cross, he mentioned that out of the last 80 or so incidents that he had been to, only my neighbors had homeowner's insurance...How the f*ck do you have a mortgage without homeowner's insurance?

You cannot have mortgage and no insurance. When you are in foreclosure and haven't paid your mortgage, the bank automatically 'force placed insurance' for upto the lien value. Since you haven't been paying your mortgage, you won't notice this as the bank simply add the cost to the lien - just like your missing payments.

    Glad everyone ok!

yes, but it doesn't cover you, or your shit
    just the bank
and only for the balance of loan or the replacement cost of the house whichever is lower.

    your $hit is all gone.
