Sending my form 4 in on Wednesday
Hopefully it doesn't take long. I will let everyone know when it shows up in the mail. Debating if I want to send in a form 1 at the same time. Hmmmm, it's only money, and you can't take it with you.
You can send them at the same time but they go to two different locations.
Form 1's go to WV, Form 4's go to GA. Sending a 4 to WV or a 1 to GA only delays the process.
Totally understand the different locations, just wasn't sure if I wanted to get the p/w going at the same time. (hoping I would get the stamps around the same time)
My check was processed yesterday. Now just hurry up and wait.

Got a Form 1 back a couple weeks ago, sent it in just after new year's, just under 3 months total. FWIW.
Got off the phone with the ATF last week, they have an Agent assigned and gave me a date of May 4th. I guess that is when they got to the bottom of the pile (my paperwork). Hopefully getting closer.
They got mine April 25th and cashed the check the 26th. I'm 1/6th the way through!
I'm not going to call them probably...why did you call after a month?
Did you mean July 4th not May 4th?
The guy I bought it from has several Form 4's and a few 1's. He always calls after a month to verify that an Agent is working on it and if there are any discrepancies. I was just going off that. And yes, they said May 4th.
