There is no such entity as "Woodland Fire". :P OK, now that I'm done picking on you I'll be kind enough to explain. Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District covers Woodland Park. The city has never had their own FD. They've thought about it a few times, but never could justify the cost. NETCFPD is part paid and part volunteer. The initial response from the paid guys is usually quick, but the volunteers had their lights taken away when they went part paid. Now, they drive to the station with traffic, so their response is quite a bit slower than when it was all volunteer. If the first truck is all that is needed, you're good.
