as a former firefighter I can tell you, Fire is a fickle beast.
In the time it takes to say "Aw shit, it's shifted." Fire can take your house.

Definitely will do. What freaked me out was just how fast it went from a small fire to fully involved. What's seriously jacked up is that when I was talking to the guy from the Red Cross, he mentioned that out of the last 80 or so incidents that he had been to, only my neighbors had homeowner's insurance...How the f*ck do you have a mortgage without homeowner's insurance?
Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?

Didn't think you could have a mortgage without insurance. Hmmmm.....

Glad the fire didn't get yours too.

    you stop paying your mortgage.
which covers both mortgage and homeowners insurance.
I can name 5 people I know off the top of my head who haven't paid in a few years.
no chance of being foreclosed on either.

You want to talk about why the recovery is a fake, there's a big reason.
    1. the banks don't have to recognize their losses
    2. it's a lot easier to buy shit when you aren't wasting $1500 bucks plus on a mortgage payment/rent.

    I'm with you Brian.
I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop on this "recovery."
