    Download the Big Game Hunting brochure for loads of info. Or you can pick one up at a sporting goods store or even Wal Mart.
    Centerfire rifles must be minimum .24 caliber (6mm) and they list the bullet requirements as well. This applies to deer, pronghorn, bear, elk and moose. **Edit: "maximum of six rounds in the magazine and chamber combined"

    Small game mammals can be taken with less than .23 caliber but you have to have a small game license which requires a valid hunters education card.

    And register with H.I.P. as well
