    Default Season Opener this weekend

First AMA/SRAC district 25 race of the year this weekend in Lakewood/Morrison. Practice Saturday, race on Sunday. Come one, come all. Bring your bikes or just come and watch. Gonna be a good time. My daughter moved up to a full size bike this year, so I'm stoked. She's #781 in the pic, this is her last year on a 85cc bike.

Oh man, that pic brings back serious memories, for sure. I can still remember my very first race, 80cc Novice. Those starting gates are quite intimidating the first couple times. I need to get another bike.

Good deal. That will keep a lot of the fast dudes away from the hare scramble at VDR on Sunday so I don't get my ass kicked so bad.

    Again.

Dont count on it. This is just the SRAC, most of the guys that ride VDR are RMXA. They dont start for their season for a few more weeks. I'm sure you guys will have a large turn out this weekend as well. We have several races up there this year as well. I loved that track until I broke 8 bones in one crash a couple of years ago. VERY fast, and a real kick in the ass. ThunderValley is loads of fun as well. Deep ruts and lots of moist dirt will make for a great day this Sunday.

    DAMN IT!!!!!!!!

I busted my ass at Thunder Valley last time I was there. That was probably 10 years ago. I don't think I've cleared a big step-up since.

    Yep.

ColoWyo- The track has changed LOTS in the last 10 years. With the AMA Nationals for the last 5 years, and Motocross DeNations last year the whole thing became "extreme". Jumps are the easy part, the corners kick my ass.
