Seriously, why no Russian ammo? It's steel cased, not steel cored. I don't use any with my handguns, but for my AK, it's actually preferred.

Yes, but not anymore harmful against steel targets over regular FMJs.

If the jacket attracts a magnet, it's a no go - range regulations.
No steel cased because it messes up the guy that recycles our brass for us. Also steel case "could" have a steel core and the magnet misses it...Seriously, why no Russian ammo? It's steel cased, not steel cored. I don't use any with my handguns, but for my AK, it's actually preferred.
That being said:
THURS 9/20 THE RIFLE RANGE WILL OPEN AT 1PM.
We had to schedule repairs because unfortunately people are still sneaking steel core in and shooting it.
So then they charge $30/hour AND THEY KEEP OUR BRASS??
I always pick up my brass and have never had anybody say anything.
You are more than welcome to pick up your own brass. It's posted on the range rules. You just can't go past the firing line for safety's sake.
Are you guys planning to do LADIES' NIGHT again?
