I got there at 10 on a Sunday 2 weeks ago and it was already a 2+ hour wait. I either reserve a lane now or just go middle of day Tuesday when I'm off.

Just an FYI for those who haven't been to BluCore before, only members can reserve lanes (that's a membership perk). Otherwise, BluCore is open to the public on a first come, first served basis.

I shoot at BluCore. While you can't make a reservation without becoming a member (about $300/year and the perk of no range fees) you can sign in, drop off some form of ID card (I use my NRA membership card), leave and come back. I've taken a pistol course there and was very happy with the course content.

I've shot a few times at BluCore. They're pretty convenient to me and the facility is very nice. The crowds recently are making me consider a membership simply to be able to reserve a lane. If you go, be aware that Thursday nights is their "class" night and it can be harder to get a lane.

I just wanted to put i n my two cents in as I took one of their rifle classes last month. The instructors were great, they had a good mix of class time and range time, and besides it was a fun, learning experience. As it was my first class of the "tactical" nature it definitely made me want to do more of them. It was their Rifle I class and while some of it was repetitious to me it never hurts to go over things (such as safety) more than once. Realize that I have been around firearms for years and have shot quite a bit but I just jumped into the AR fold a few years back.
Overall it was a well-paced class that kept you thinking and I am definitely planning on taking more classes there as Jeff and Micah were excellent instructors.

I wanted to throw up a review for Bluecore. Took a couple people there a few weeks ago. Including two newbies. Great guys, fairly reasonably priced for what we were trying to do. You can shoot rifles on the pistol range. Even lent me a mag for the AR because the magpul one I brought wasn't seating. Great experience, especially for the folks I brought who had never shot.

This is kind of a dead thread but I've been shooting at Blucore for a couple years and have been a member for the last month so I thought I'd throw my two cents in.

The facility itself is fantastic. Very clean, most of the equipment is in working order (with the exception of an off target retriever or two), and the air filtration system is great. Being able to shoot 100 yards indoors is a treat and I usually stay a lot longer than originally planned (which led me to get a membership). Their is a fairly good selection of targets and they have many rental guns to choose from at a fair price.

As far as the employees go it's hit or miss. There's a few guys that work there that I'd say are helpful and friendly but the majority don't really show much interest in me being there. Maybe it's because I'm a young looking guy or something but the lack of customer service I usually get from the range and retail areas is not worth the $400 a year. BUT the ranges themselves are worth it especially when I only live a block down the road. I've brought friends in and have suggested my other shooting friends to stop in and they all had a great time. Highly recommended.

Anyone know if they allow you to shoot prone on the rifle range?

Probably not, there isn't that much room behind the positions. Others would be tripping over you trying to get past unless you you were at the far right station.
But call them, the most they can do is say no.
