Default Need a bit of help

It's been about 2.5 years since I moved back to Colorado.

I love being back. Except I can't find an old fashioned barber shop in Elbert or Douglas county.

I want the kind that used to be near Southglenn Mall 30 years ago. Small, with 2 old retired military guys cutting hair with a straight razor, deer heads on the wall, playboys on the counter.

Does such a place exist anymore?

the owner was a retired sgt major-guy knew how to do a regulation cut blindfolded!!

what was great about it was the guy was an ffl as well,so while you were gettin your cut you can look at the wall and pick out your next toy!!
those days here are loong gone since the kommies started takin over

Good luck-I can't seem to find anyone who can give a good flatop haircut anymore !!
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

    Thumbs up

Few and far between these days! It's been awhile since I have been since I buzz my own but this was the first place that came to my mind. While you may not find the playboys at the counter it's still one of the last few "old school" barber shops I know of. Been around longer than I have and I am my 40's.

When I first moved to the Metro area (5 years ago), I lived in Denver off of Colorado and Yale. There is a really good Barber shop at the North end of the University Hills shopping center. All of the Barbers are Vets, and can cut a real good flat top, high and tight, whatever you want. Don't think I remember seeing any playboys, but it was a good shop.
