Of all the guns I've owned I can say I haven't had a bad apple yet. I was worried about the Kimber through the first 300 rds but now it runs like a clock. The Desert Eagle can be a lil picky and that sucks cause it's an ammo whore! That is to be expected though.
The latest failure I witnessed was my friends XD, the slide catch/release broke. He called Springfield and they promptly hooked him up with a new one. Not sure of the cause, maybe a bubble in the cast. That's little disappointing (only 500 rds) but a small inconvenience if anything. I've heard and read a lot of stories of bad guns/bad buy's and consider myself lucky to this point.

I have a lot of hate for guns made in Italy(flame suit on) and Yeah H&K's are cool but for fuck sake why are they so god damn much more then shit made here. And dont even get me started on Benelli. $632.47 for and new m2 barrel and a 9 month wait fuck you.

I agree totally Benelli barrels/accessories are completely outrageous. I bought a Super Nova thinking that I could use as a hunting/home defense role. Then I found out how much the 18 inch barrels were. I could buy a whole other defense shotgun for less.

C'mon now fellers, HK is pretty much the best of the best- imho. Not necessary to spend retail either. If you watch the ads on various forums and on GB, you can get what you need at about 2/3s retail.

I am going to have to agree with you on HK's. Of all of the guns that I have, I have done more to, and with all of my HK's without ever having a single problem. Now, are they worth the price... Is a Kimber? My gold match? Any of the high price guns? Depends I guess, you might run into a problem with the others. I have with mine and with my friends. I am not saying that HK's are magical guns, just that in my personal experience, they are the best quality.

HK's are made by magic Nordic Valkyrie's, forged in the Valhalla and personally hammer stamped by Odin. The shipping cost from Valhalla is ridiculous thus the extra cost. But Valkyrie craftsmanship is really the top of the top
