My first semi auto handgun was a Ruger P85. Bought it used and shot the hell out of it. Ran like a top...a boat anchor like top but a top. Sold it to a friend with the provision that, if he sold it, I had first dibs on buying it back.

Beyond that, everything I own is the best because I spent all my money on them and the kewl kids said they were the best and they have kewl names and accessories and I like drinking kewl-aid and I have to justify my kewlness somehow and Ford is better than Chevy and .45 is better than 9mm and...

I will not name the member, nor state their... brief... argument, but suffice it to say i really wish that in the spirit of this thread they would defend their USP publicly.

HK's are nice...Glock does it just as good for a hell of a lot cheaper...my experience..1911..Gotta Have it....Glock..Gotta have it... anything else is just trial and error.
