Default To sell or not to sell?

I really like my BCM 14.5 middy upper but I am having ammo issues? I have shot some Federal and havent noticed any issues, but when I reloaded a few hundred rounds they are unuseable in it. I just had 500rds done by Bullet Boy and they to are unuseable? I get a few shots then its jam clearing for a few. I have gotten to fully use the BAD lever trying to shoot this thing. Not bashing Bullet boy, he offered to redo them to make them work. I also tried some surplus and its a no go so my question is should I even mess with it? I dont need a gun that is finicky and only eats certain stuff! But I really like the upper. I bought it complete with BCG and gun fighter charging handle and its awesome! What to do? Another 150rds down range today at the indoor range $20/hr trying to get the kinks worked out because I didnt want to waste gas going to the grasslands knowing it may not work. I also dont want to spend anymore money even to have it shipped back to BCM.

I just get frustrated when shit dont work right!

    how much?

i have two mid length rock rivers and they function flawless with reloads, wolf, brown bear, etc. etc. So, I wonder what the problem is? Anyway your plumbing is clogged? You could check from the receiver all the way to the gas block.

It wont even go into battery some of the time, it sticks and you have to tap it to pull the charging handle to get the live round out, it doesnt feed right etc. If I keep it I would be stuck with factory ammo it looks like.

What did you pay for it? Also, I was looking at one of those, what is the weight?

bring it to me. i will work on it, or, if, it were mine, i would polish the bolt, and maybe the bolt carrier as well. i do that on almost all my pistols and rifles. polish feed ramps, polish everything. slick works better.

here we can shoot it, work on it, shoot it. try different ammo.

It was like $385 plus $44 (handle) plus $135 for BCG, I dont know on the weight but its pretty light. Ran great the first couple outings on factory ammo.

Call & talk to someone at BCM before you start messing with anything. They will take care of you.

Its not their problem it wont shoot "cheap" ammo, also if they are like most manufacturers as soon as you say reloads they will tell you to pound sand.

    This

run out to Chris's place or swing by here. I'd talk to BCM first. IF you are still not happy i have an upper we could probably work out some sort of deal on.
