Sixgun quit your bitchin, do your job and deliver coal or what ever you hual. I could really care less about how important you think your jobs because eevery job is important. Thats what you wanted to do so go do it!
Pay your dues, take the scrapes your Union Bosses give you, dont act like nobody here could learn to drive a train and be a man.
I will not stand at attention when a train drive by and drop a tear for the hard working conductor man, your gonna get a check and your wife is gonna get a check for life, you wont be hurting for money.
I know people retired from the RR and they are doing pretty damn good and trying to get people to get on with them because life is good after retirement.
You get no Union sympathy here.
Next time take a sec to look at what you write before you post.

That would be awesome if my wife would get a check for life.

Sounds like you wish you had a good union job like mine. It's a hard lifestyle not a hard job.

A union is necessary in my line of work. That is all I'm trying to say.

Just a little personal experience note....

I have helped at least couple dozens walmart employees - greeters, cashiers - They have nothing but good thing to say about Walmart. Like any other giant corps, you will get some vocal haters who have outrages demand.

Locally in Denver area, the union has been trying hard to organize wallmart workers for the last 6 years. Each time the employees voted them down. Wallmart lunch break is one of the best conversion rate to pitch your business to the employees btw In fact, I am doing a couple refis for some of them as we speak.

I was actually going to take an internship with Walmart ISD some years ago, so I looked into things. It's not bad at all. I don't know many other places where part-timers can be eligible for health insurance.

In principle, I don't give a shit about unions - right to assembly, and all. But when you get shit like mandatory membership and mandatory dues paying, I consider that a problem.

I remember specifically looking at UPS when I was still in school, and deciding that the dues assraping and seniority structure wasn't for me. It's anti-meritocratic. Fortunately, I finished my degrees, work a desk job, and in my leisure time, enjoy crushing the hopes and dreams of the proletariat.

Yeah, mandatory membership to a union is bullshit.

Unions serve a purpose, but like all things are only good in moderation. I think there should be a law prohibiting a requirement to be a union member to work a job. I also think the law they're passing in WI which essentially bans collective bargaining is BS. There's a happy middle ground that neither side seems interested in. Fucking typical, really.

    Back to the original subject-
I am gonna call BS on it being a Ruger. That would be supporting US labor and our economy.
We all know that Oblunder would not support that.
My bet is it is a Norinco..................
