    Default XS sights

Has anyone used XS sights on a pistol? Considering a set for my Glock.

I assume you are talking about their 24/7 sights. They are good and tough and you can acquire them fast- but I've gone away from them because they are not very precise. I prefer Heinie Straight 8's or 10-8 sights with the front Trijicon dot.

Overall I like them, especially as a learning tool. They do take longer to line up for a precision shot than notch & post sights, but you can still make good precision hits within a reasonable time.

What I really like about them is that you can't help but focus on the front sight (fundamentals anyone?) & with it being so bold it becomes easier for people to learn to watch the front sight in recoil.

I think that as a learning tool for the above reasons, they're an outstanding set of sights & worth the price of admission. That said, I'm currently running a set of Warrens to work out a few issues that I'm having as a shooter.

In the end, you have to realize that any set of sights is going to be a compromise between speed & precision.

I've been wanting to do some side-by-side comparisons but haven't had the time yet.
