This is an odd issue for me, too. My permit arrived just this past Tuesday, and my holster got here today. I carried for the first time in public today to Flat Irons mall in Broomfield, CO. On the way in I noticed a sign disallowing all firearms, explosives, sticks (yes, I'm serious), and knives with blades longer than 2". :rolleyes

The interesting thing was that the sign was only posted on the enterances that lead from the outside directly into the mall. If one were to enter through Dick's, Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom, etc., no such signs were posted at the enterance to the store from the outside or mall enterance.

But it's good to know that this doesn't matter in CO. I put my gun in the car just to be safe, but now I know I'm good to go!
