Maybe it is only a faux vertical foregrip.

Are they a class 3 dealer? And there was nobody at the store?

I didn't see an employee around, and figured a non gun desk employee would be like

Should I call them? I dont want to a know it all either.
Gee, well I'll tell you what you probably SHOULDN'T do, and that is post a photo of the violation on a local gun forum read by most of the local ATF agents with the name and location of the store. The rules about VFG on pistols are not widely known and an honest mistake may have been made that someone is now in danger of losing their business and going to prison over. Or, perhaps it is properly registered as a Class III firearm.

I would delete that photo and call them ASAP.

They're not to professional there. I've walked up to the counter to see what they had and heard them talking about the previous customer; how she just bought 2 AK's and they should keep her info handy and call ATF. I approached the manager and said "what if that was my wife they were talking about?" He froze...then proceeded to set the 2 employees straight.

How do you know that its not a registered AOW?

Seems like it'd cost more if it were registered NFA. But I don't really know.

It's only $5 since a VFG on a pistol is an AOW
