NOPE!! The BATF apparently decided that there is so much of the gun exposed, there is no requirement to register it like there was with the High Standard derringers. Those little holsters (for the Hi Std) had too much of the gun hidden to the point where it did not look like a firearm. I have done the research on this before I bought the holster. If/when you get your LCP, be sure to try one of these holsters. They will also fit the KelTec P3AT .380 perfectly.
I was going to ask why that holster wouldn't be legal till you explained it. If too much of the gun is hidden, would firing from a coat pocket them make it an AOW?

Personally, I use an uncle mikes poket holster. Hard to beat 10 bucks. I use the ones designed for "most .22/25 pistols".
