    Default North American Hunting Club

Any "members" here. They sent me an offer for a dollar a month to try out gear from hunting manufacturers and fill out a report (with the possiblity of keeping the gear) and a monthly magazine North American Hunter. After you fill out a Welcome Kit you get your prize a knife and a cook book, yada yada.
I know it's essentially a magazine subscription, but is it worth "it", or a hassle? I already get F@S mag and Outdoor Life.
    Thoughts gents?

Thanks. Wow. Sounds like it is too good to be true, and apparently it is. Sounds like more of a hassle than what is worth from reading your link.

    Default My Opinion

Anything I post on here is simply my opinion unless it is for sale. When I Googled "North American Hunting Club, it auto-completed "North American Hunting Club scam" so I clicked on the results and posted a link. You can try it yourself...if you think you got good value, let us know.

I had four friends who were members in middle and high school. None of us ever got any gear to review. I guess if you get a lifetime membership like Mtn.man, things might be different.

Wait, wait, for joining, I did get a plastic camouflage-patterned duffle bag that spontaneously fell apart after a year of sitting on my bookshelf.

I've got a bunch of stuff from both nahc and nafc. It's all been little things but my brother got a .22 cal pellet rifle to review and everything they send you to review is yours to keep. The bad thing as pointed out, they will try to send you books and videos and then try to get you to pay for them. If you call they always remove it from their "collection list"

I was a member for a few years. Some good cook books $$$, never did get to try any of the gear test stuff. Got tired of them sending me stuff that I felt that I had to buy. Dont waste your time or money. Just my opinion!!
