Not $10k+ kinda fun though! I'll stick to my m249 at work.

I think i saw a lightning link a while back for less then 10k maybe like 7, cheapest but far from the best
You'll be in the neighborhood of 8-10k for a lightning link or RDIAS, occasionally you'll find some M16 variant (usually oly's or frankfords) under 10k, colts go for a little bit more- most I've seen lately are 12-14k. Converting your AR15 to an M16 has been illegal since May 1986, unless you're a manufacturer. Even then, by doing so you'd be making the weapon illegal to own except by gov't/LE/dealer (as a post may sample to demo to LE/gov't agencies). Hope it helps.
RDIAS typically goes for more than a converted receiver, but not as much as real M16.
RDIAS is nice as if you have catastrophic failure, you can pick the RDIAS out of the rubble and install in new host gun and you are good to go. You blow up a registered receiver and there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
"Cheap" receiver conversions are going for between 8500 - 11000 right now.
RDIAS around 10000 - 12000
M16 receivers are 10000 and up.
Not sure on Lightning Links as I am not in the market for those...
Damn ridiculous pricing...
You sir, are a specialist in the art of discovering a welcoming outcome of a particular situation....not a mechanic.
My feedback add 11-12 ish before the great servpocaylpse of 2012
