What's he going to be doing (what's his MOS and what kind of unit is he assigned to)?

(Please keep in mind your nephew's OPSEC! Specific units, names, dates and locations should NEVER be posted on an open forum.)

Been there. Kind of a shithole actually.

It has been a while for me, but I bet not much has changed.

Don't worry about him then. He will live very comfortable and have access to all sorts of nice things like BK, coffee shops, massage parlor, all kinds of workout and everything else you could want. It is just hot, dry and kinda shitty like Hoser said.

He said Emerald Lake still smells the same.
I guess I shouldn't have told him to request a room with a view.

I wish I was that young again. McCrystal got rid of a lot of the amenities. He thought it was detering from the mission. TGIF still there just a little pricey for an airman.

    Thanks for replies.
Hoser why aren't you guys practicing on the gulch fire.

Too many planes, not enough airspace. And the single engine tanker are more effective in tight quarters.
