New guy from Golden
I'm new to the site and came here primarily looking for training opportunities in the area as well as people that I could talk to about where to shoot/buy guns and ammo around here.
I'm also new to Colorado in general. I moved to Golden this fall to start school at the Colorado School of Mines. Originally I am from southern Wyoming. I like it around here, there is a lot more to do, I just don't like the million other people you have to do it with lol.
I mainly shoot pistols as thats much more affordable on a college students budget than my AR-15. As a result, my M&P9 has seen a lot of rounds down range in the last few months while my AR has sat back home and hasn't been taken care of since last summer. It is a sin, I know, but its one I hope to rectify this summer.
Anyway, seems like a good forum and I'm looking forward to being able to talk with some locals about shooting. I apologize for running afoul of the rules at the start in regards to posting this as well as my User CP but I think I've got that all sorted out now. If not, let me know.
