plus if a stupid Hunter Saftey Course counts as training for your CCW then just about anything should, including these internet classes. I would guess that anyone here could pass the Hunter Saftey with their eyes closed.

Hey, at least you guys have CCW classes there that offered live fire exercises! I think most of the ones down here are 55 to 75 bucks and you just sit and listen to the instructor. That's what mine was anyway, did it at sportsmans. I will agree with you pat on taking the cheapest damn course that will get you your papers. Then find a good course, or someone who knows their stuff and go out with them and practice. Sounds like Bailey knows a thing or two!

Hunters saftey counts? Huh, I could have signed up for my CCW when I was 10 then.

I would like to add that if you read the rules and regs.. it doesnt say you have to have a beginner course.

I think you could also use certain handgun shooting events. [citation needed]

Cheapest and most convenient I have found is here...

$50 and you can do it from the comfort of your favorite recliner. This is definitely not for everyone, always good to get range training IMHO.

im not sure what would possess someone to take an online class especially not one that presents it in a "universal" sense...i.e. the CCW Institute...why would you spend money on a class that doesn't even teach you the laws of carrying in colorado. also, i do believe that ccwing should be a right not a privilege however, that being said...there are just some people who do NOT qualify to be carrying around a gun...think about when you go up to the range and there's always that one person(or multiple people) who are just blasting rounds not really knowing how to hold their weapon properly or even clear a malfunction when needed and when they bring back their targets there are fliers all over the paper...look at them, and think very hard about whether you want this person carrying a weapon and trying to "defend" when something happens.not only are they not going to protect themselves theyre probably creating a liability in the process..training is priceless in my opinion and if you are really serious about wanting to carry a gun don't pay for one of these 1 hour online classes. carrying a weapon becomes a responsibility and if you're really thinking about the "cheapest" route maybe you should reconsider...just my .02...opinions are like assholes..everyones got one
