Default Packing a care package for a few troops in Afghanistan - anyone want to pitch in?

I've got a few things I'm sending over to a couple of deployed guys, right now there is plenty of room in the box so I figured I'd see if anyone wanted to contribute to the care package.

Honestly I'm not sure what all should get added, but common items like dip, candy, AA and CR123 batteries, Watch caps, etc..

The reason I'm even sending this is to get a M4 stock over to one of the guys who can use it, I'm throwing in an ACU Colorado Flag Patch and some jolly ranchers, might even grab a big package of AA batteries from SAM's club. So if you're interested in adding to the box, drop me a PM and we'll figure out how to get your contribution into the box. I'm planning on mailing it out next week some time, so don't doddle!

    3.16.11 Update.

So the guy we are sending this to is the Company 1SGT, he's basically looking out for troops that don't have a lot of at home support. Providing that this box goes well, I'll most likely look to send another one in a month or two. The two things that he's identified as needed for so far are:

Comfort items.. Watch caps, foot and hand warmers and such. Nothing heavy winter wise, that's coming to an end and the box isn't that frakking big.
Slings.. apparently the single point slings a lot of troops went with when they were heading over are turning out to be a massive FAIL (go figure). So if you have a 2-Point Sling you're willing to pitch in.. Coolness.

Other items that look like they'll go over well:

    iTunes gift cards
Girl Scout cookies (not any that would melt)
Moral Patches - They've asked that they be reasonable, no HEY FUCKFACE or DIRKA DIRAK kinda things. Also the uniform is now Multicam for those of you care.
PMags - even if you don't mind pitching 1, it all adds up. I've just landed a good deal on a few that'll be adding in.
    And?

A few of you have offered up money. If we want to pool the money and hit up Bowers for a sling or two, that works for me. I don't know that I want to be too accountable for cash or anything, it might be easier if we can get something done through Firemoth or one of the other Tactical Supply folks here on the board.

This all started because I offered up a Milspec M4 stock with a CAA cheek saddle. If someone has a quality upgrade for a stock, I'm sure that would be well received as well.

As for a ship date, I'm aiming for early to mid next week. Short turn around I know, but I want to get this stuff outbound as soon as possible.

General rule of thumb when sending a care package, it's gotta be able to withstand 200 degrees of heat and have an expiration date 6 months past their return date, those packages can and will sit on a Tarmac for many weeks. Jolly ranchers will turn into a jolly mess

I'm down to throw in some $$$, with my schedule I don't know when I could get you anything. It should go towards playboys, cigs, and chew.
