My being the cheapskate that I am-bought a 3" memory foam pad to put on the regular mattress. Less than $100 at Sam's. Does the trick for me.

We've got the Tempurpedic and love it, after going through 3 normal mattresses in maybe 12 years. The wife absolutely loves it. Carnal relations... they can be a little weird the first couple times though.

Had the same sleep number bed for over 12 years now. If you ever moved a tempur-leadic before, you will get the sleep number. It all breaks down into a couple of nice light boxes. Get the comfort top for it and give it a week to get used to it. If the wife and I ever split, the bed is what we will shed blood over.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

I definitely agree that the tempur pedic is pricey. Right now Denver Mattress Company is offering 0% financing on all beds. The Tempur Pedic is the same price at other stores I looked at as well, so it isn't jacked up on price.

Have not got the frame for any bed yet, was gonna go with a simple metal frame until after my wedding in 3 months, which I also convinced the sales guy to throw in if I bought it (I know they are cheap, but why add insult to injury).

For those that have an air bed has anyone ever had a problem with them? What are the warranties like? And if you have had any problems, how much did it cost to fix them?

never slept on a tempurpedic. I hear the foam gets hot, that would bug me.

I have a Dr.'s choice that works just fine, and you could just about buy one for every day of the week for what tempurpedic costs.

still working on finding a good pillow though...

I have had these for quite a few years now, they're excellent and sleep better than they look.

I slept on a tempur-pedic once.. It was awesome..

    I just can't justify $3k+ for a mattress.

Btw..anyone wanting a damn good bed.. you get what you pay for..

Costco. I would look I think it's a sealey but to varifiy I would have to toss the wife to the floor and that wouldn't go over so well. We paid a grand with all plus frame and sheets and the mattress cover. 3 years and it's still comfy
