    Default Mossberg 590 Transformation

Well, I was gonna sell this Mossy 590, but after doing a few things to it, it is just too durned purty.... and it shoots great! I love the "Old School" look

Here is the after pic. New set of furniture, purchased here and all cleaned up. I have since put a different Tan Webbing sling...

    and from the rear...

I am going to pick up a heat shield for it soon from Aimpro. They make one that fits the heavy barrel.

I also want to get either a solid rubber Decelerator pad or an old style "T" pad.

And yes, the front sight is not on there. I have to put it back into place..

Real nice. I like the old school look as well. The ribbed hardwood foreend is what does it. I left my ribbed wood fore-end on my 870 as well. Hogue shorty overmolded buttstock in back. If you put the heatshield on it, it will just add weight. I'd leave it as is. KISS!

I agree. Everything these days is black plastic. The lumber looks fat.

I would trade, as the solid black rubber one would be cool, but the one that is on it now is not in the best condition.

Neither is mine, its a little worn around the edges... I'll get a pic for ya later on. I don't mind a little wear and tear, I go out and use my guns instead of keeping em in the safe looking pretty. My shotty kicks pretty hard for some reason and I'm thinkin your skeletonized pad might help a bit.

Very nice. I have the same fore end on one of my 500's I plan to use and I am going to get a Bantam short LOP stock to do something very similar to a 590A1
