    Default Benelli M1 Reliability

I'm having reliabilty problems with my M1 Super 90 with low brass field loads and the factory 20 inch barrel. Anyone local who can do good work on these?

Have you tried different types of ammo in it? Since the Benelli is inertia operated some ammo doesn't work as well as others. That's just my initial reaction to the post. My second thought is taking it down and giving it a good cleaning.

What is the specific problem? I run low brass "AA" thru mine with no problems, but I have seen that if you "limp-wrist" them and don't give the system something to push against, they will fail-to-eject. And lube 'em up good.

Try light grease instead of oil if you dont have any and want to drive
to Dacono I can do it for you. Mine did not function reliably until I used
    grease.

The gun is clean. I've been using oil on it. I have always had a problem with low brass field loads and the short barrel (20 inches). I've never had that problem with the 26 inch field barrel. AA's seem to work well with either barrel.
