Hmmm.... mixed thoughts here.

1) If the guy is found guilty in a court of law, put him under the jail, preferably in an oxygen free sealed container.

2) He hasn't been convicted yet. His relatively low bond would seem to indicate there is some weakness in the case against him. Given the propensity for the "news" media to sensationalize stuff, it's entirely possible that when all of the facts come out, that he's guilty of nothing more than being stupid. Trial by public opinion flat pisses me off, as all someone has to do is blab to one of these so called journalists, and someone's life can be destroyed, long before a jury decides guilt or innocence.

Some of you may remember the United Bank robbery/killings years ago in Denver. The man accused of those murders was the father of one of my good friends. He was acquitted after a 6 month trial, lost his job, nearly lost his house, and had to declare bankruptcy. The newspapers crucified him, and branded him a killer, when the most compelling evidence against him (a retired police officer) was the outline of a novel he was writing. To this day, he has to deal with repercussions of this fiasco, even after he was cleared of all charges.
