    Default AK47 help please.....

Hi I need to know if any of you fine people know how to make my Romanian AK accept full size magazines. It is a model 991, great rifle but only set up to take 5 and 10 round single stacks. I know it can be done, just dont know how..... I heard its just taking some sheet metal off the side where magazine goes in. The lengtg seems fine. I talked to bp tactical, he said he can do it. But im just kinda broke right now. If anyone can help id greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.

here is a link to some videos-

Just be sure you are careful for 922r compliance, and if you do it yourself, be very careful, once the mag well is cut out, it is easy to make it too loose, meaning the mags will wobble and you may run into some reliability issues. If you are close, you might want to save up and have BP do it.

FYI-Me fixing foul ups will not save you any money.
You can give it a try with a Dremel on your kitchen table or you can save 4 days worth of lunch money and it is done in a mill precisely.

    Your call...................................
