I just know the guy in AZ was selling glock's that were converted for FA at gunbroker.com for $800. He was also charging $400 to convert your own Glock. There is also 1 beretta pre 86 FA hand gun being sold on gunbroker for 1,495. I just figured they must be legal or they wouldn't sell them on such a public website. They stated they had to have the money, and the proper forms before they would ship, and they would only ship to class III dealers. That all seemed legit to me.
