    Default So today in class..

    My teacher said that one of the reasons America is so "violent" compared to other countries is because of gun ownership..
    Also in our lecture today, terrorism is a political statement, and she stated that the 9/11 attacks were political, not based on religious ideology, even though the attackers had their Korans with them and they were praying to Allah for a successful mission...
    I just thought I'd share this with all of you.

    Don't you love it when teachers bring their personal views into the classroom? Two years in and it seems to me that most of getting through college is learning to tune out the idiot opinions of someone who thinks their "eyes have been opened"-be it teachers or fellow students.

    What is really bad is....most of the students in the class belived her. The colleges of today are teaching the students to become left wing libtards.

    Ask her to explain Switzerland. Near universal ownership of fully automatic weapons, and violent crime is all but unheard of.

    DC, Chicago, New York, LA. All have very restrictive gun control laws, all have anomalously high rates of violent crime.

    You might want to wait until you have received your final grade for the semester before you make her look like an idjit, though...
