If Libya went into a full civil war and oil supplies were cut the UK would have to seek oil from other sources thereby creating greater demand and less supply. Not to mention after Iraq we damaged many relationships with strategic allies and this was a away for us to make amends.

We did our part by sending 100+ missles in to the country and attacking numerous targets (far more than any of the coutnries who actually benefit from Libya's oil have done). Why would we do anything more? There is absolutely nothing that can come from additional US intervention.

I have listened to some people who are in their 90's and my Dad in his 80's and they are all saying that we are in deep shit like back in the day, but most can't see it as they were not around and do not listen to those that were.

We have let our government bring us down over the past 30+ years and for some insane reason we continue to let it happen. We are supposed to stand to a corrupt and evil government, but no one has the nads to do so, so we get what we get and we whine on forums like this.
