    Default Aerogarden

So I got my fiance an Aerogarden for her birthday. Pretty excited to see how well the herb seed kit (came with it) grows.

Here is a picture of one after a few weeks of growing:

If you youtube for videos of one of these, be prepared to sort through the 90% of the videos of people growing pot in them.

Anyway, I think it is pretty cool and can't wait to get it going. Here is a link to all their seed kits. They even have one where you can just drop your own seeds in there and grow whatever you want.

I think Stu lives in an apartment. I have a friend who cannot stop talking about Aerogarden. Unless they can grow chicken wing or steak out of those, I think I ll pass.

Come on, you need some fresh herbs to spice up the chicken or the steak. Or at least, some kind of herbs and spices, doesn't have to be fresh.

I really like the Webber Chicago Style stuff on steaks.

We live in an apartment, and our back porch directly faces the moon. Plus, with this, you can harvest herbs for 4-5 months (according to all the reviews). I don't think you could do that with a regular garden. And the stuff is harvest ready in about 4 weeks. That is all for the herb kit though, some stuff, like jalapenos, apparently take longer.

Too bad. For the last few years we have been using "rock dust" (I know, sounds retarded) in our garden with absolutely amazing results. I bet you could use some in one of those and make monster plants...

There is no dirt in an aerogarden. Just water. Every two weeks you add a nutrient packet.
