Any com-block military surplus magazines would work just fine. Centerfiresystems.com has a deal for 4 Bulgarian mags for 47.99 it also comes with pouch or you can get the individually for 12.99 EA. There are other sources on internet, google it and you will find tons of them. Also you may want to check out local shop 5280 armory they may have them. Hope this helps.

The 5.45 x 39 ammo is so cheap its sick! Here is a great price for Russian Military ammo:

Have you shot the linked ammo from your rifle yet? I actually bought both, and it turns out that the Century rifle from Centerfire is not chrome lined. The Russian surplus is corrosive - I have experience from my Mosin, but have you seen any corrosion with your cleaning regimen?
    9mm - because they don't make a 9.1mm

No issues with corrosive ammo, just clean your rifle after shooting. We will go over how to clean it and what products to use.

Beat to hell. Huge line of soon-to-be yellow and purple bruises up the inside of my left bicep- (lefty). Feet hurt, knees hurt, butt hurts. Holy crap.

It was a good class! Had alot of fun, learned some new tricks. The Russian system is another tool in the toolbox. Very effective, quick sighting system. Had a great time at the wall! Tim and Ivan and the rest of the crew put on a great event!

Hey Ivan, where do you get those sight in targets?

    Curious.....

The Krink shot great, it was great to have a chance to run it.

    Thanks Mean Streets!

    Dave,

I made the targets myself. (red star was my addition) However, the design was taken straight from Russian AK manuals. For zeroing you could take 11x17 paper (close enough) paint it black use the same technique you learn in the class refer to the ballistic table in the handouts that I give you. Sight "3" @ 100m measure from the bottom of the paper.
