I don't have that particular with Pandora but I truly dislike my HTC EVO from Sprint. I can't go 4 maybe 5 hours if I've made or received any calls without the battery needing to be recharged. I took it to the sprint store and the tech pushed some buttons and said "there....you now how 8 more hours of battery life" so I said "what did you do?" He replies "I turned off, email, web browsing, etc" so I replied "Then why do I want a smart phone if I have to keep it dumb all the time?" He looked confused and said "Well...you can buy an extended battery!"

I checked out the reviews online and for batter life the EVO gets 1.5 stars out of 5.....I think I'll switch to the new Sony and give the EVO to my 16 year old son.

I think they have made a lot of updates on them... MY wife and I got the Evo Shifts and I just didn't like it at all, so I returned my shift for the standard Evo 4G and I've been very happy about the new one. I run all kinds of stuff email, messages, some GPS, surf and I have half the battery left at 12 hours. My wife has to charge hers every 12 hours... She does up it more, but I've been very happy with the battery life on my. I just got it two weeks ago. No I don't have any issue with the music popping.

I don't spend tons of time on the phone but even when I do use it a lot I still get a full day plus out of the battery and thats with everything on even the GPS. I usually plug it in when running the hot spot so not sure on that. I haven't run a internet radio app yet but the sound is fine with headphones and the radio app, mine is only about a month old, I like it so far.

That sounds more like your data connection then the phone. These phones can handle something as simple as audio streaming just fine with the proper data connection. We have Evo 4G's and have been very happy with them. Call quality is noticeably better than our Droid 1's on Verizon wireless and we are paying about half every month as we were.

I have the 4G evo and have been real happy with it.

I keep the power settings up on one screen so I can turn on and off 4g and wifi as needed. I haven't run into any power issues yet. Goes a full day, but I charge it every night.

You have to pay extra to be able to run the hot spot right? I figured out how to hook it up and tether the wireless connection with the USB cable but it says I need the service to activate the hot spot? I assume this cost more money?

That's what I thought I read after the fact. The sales guy lead me on to believe that I could do all that with the "UNLIMITED data place" which I have. Not sure what part of the UNLIMITED plan has the limit of not passing wireless connection to your laptop. I figured this out at home after getting the phone. Then I was able to figure out how to use the USB cable to pass the wireless signal without the extra cost so that works for my backup internet application incase I'm somewhere that doesn't have free wifi.

Yes $30 a month which I could live with because 3G is still better than my P*S 1.5 DSL from qwest same cost....but after I got the phone I saw the tethering, tried to get it working and could not, called Sprint and was told there was a charge for tethering too (didn't get the $ amount) think I'm going to try calling again and see if I get a different answer, I can live with only one connection if it saves me $360 a year
Tried to submit this post and qwest is dead again, qwest will be getting a call tomorrow too...bye bye
