GSXR Squib attempts to fight ticket

A little power ranger punk on a sport bike is a "Squid", which is a phonetic contraction of "squirrely kid", referring to the result of them having more bike than skill.

Yeah, the "power rangers" in full leather aren't Squids.

The Squids are the ones wearing no helmet, shorts, flop flops, have a helmet-less chick on the back wearing shorts and a tank top.

While "Squid" can be a phonetic contraction of "squirrely kid" it also refers to the fact that many of these kids look like fried calamari when they put their little speed machines down on the hard pavement.

To me, a power ranger is the kid with the matching leather jacket... open. the matching helmet... attached to the back of the bike. Matching gloves... in the tail trunk. Sunglasses, check!

...and Japanese anime character wind proof hair spiked up with air craft epoxy.... hence the power ranger thing.

But i take it we all agree that none of these things are a 'squib', with a 'b'

Actually I'm not entirely convinced that "Squib" doesn't apply to this guy.

When you take into account his failure to fire at the end of the video I think both terms are equally applicable.

Thanks for posting I've been wanting to show someone that.

I thought were called "squids" because the ones that are usually dressed for the beach end up looking like squid somewhere along the roadside.
