    yes, but we typically use the placements as exampled, its a standards thing.
    otherwise, by your logic it could be argued that Salt Lake, Utah is east of Denver, Colorado.

    The map is centered at 0', and Breaks at the 180s, also known as the International date line.

    I admit I missed my mark this morning on that. Thanks for pointing that out really have no idea what I was thinking.

    However I have never been lost. Good sense of direction when I am somewhere.
