Try some federal bulk from Wal mart. It works great in my semi auto 22's, and when my chiappa 1911-22 worked, it was the only ammo that would feed.

    Default Gsg 1911

I have about thousands of rounds through my GSG and the only problem I have had is the take down screw stripped out, I just have not called them to have it taken care of. I took it out yesterday and put 550 flawless rounds through it I love it, and man it is accurate.

+1 for the gsg 1911. I wasn't impressed with the build quality of the gsg-5, but the 1911 is good to go. Well built and reliable. I have a few thousand rounds through mine so far and no real problems. My only complaint is the stupid take down screw. Really wish they would have made it a screw-less design.

Just leave it out that is what alot of people do and then you dont have to have tools to take her down, plus it still has the pin and slide stop holding the barrel in.

I always wondered if you could do that. It seemed they over engineered the whole thing with a screw, a pin and the slide stop. I just figured it was there for a reason.
